There is no such thing in New York State law.

You are convicted when the jury's verdict is announced and the judge 
denies any motions to set aside the verdict...

...which Merchan denied in this case.

New York State law (already sourced for you) provides that people 
convicted of felonies must have a pre-sentence interview with the 
probation department.

Trump had that interview.

Ergo, he's been convicted.

The offences of which he was convicted were felonies.

Ergo, he is a convicted felon.
