dollar disaster" tabulation.
The tabulation is clever marketing, not science.
Kudos to NOAA for the admission and taking steps to correct course.
"NOAA claims that its claims that the dataset demonstrates the detection and attribution of changes in
climate are a matter of policy and not information quality."
Nothing more than, "It's true (attribution) because I said it's true" chest-beating.
