The fantasies they create for themselves when the facts of a matter are
inescapable boggle the mind.

If Walz had NOT tugged his son away from the teleprompter, they'd have taken him
to task for allowing it to happen.

They also fail to account for the family intimacy and automaticity of the
gesture.  Clearly the family is well used to continually keeping an eye on Gus
for just such reasons as this.
