It really isn't.

Rallies offer a very small and fanatical segment of the electorate to 
gather and pretend they're relevant.

New York is a city of 8 million.

That there might be enough cultists to listen to Trump and friends rant 
is not only unsurprising...

...it's inevitable.

But Trump regularly lies about how many actually show up anyway.
