Nope.
Let's get some facts straight:
2024: 14 inches of rain, 422 ppm CO2
1957: 20 inches in 2 days, 314 ppm CO2
Unless we see another 6 inches, these floods are anything but unprecedented. The truth is, Valencia's been hit like this before, and it's a
natural pattern. So why wasn't better flood infrastructure built since 1957? Maybe because it's easier to blame emissions than take real
action.
