The increase is devaluation of your currency (a tax).
Printing money to prop-up government spending 
devalues the national currency causing inflation (a tax).

The Swiss with the exception of the Covid era (went to 0.8%) has had
negative inflation always, value of currency increasing.
The Swiss contain their spending to their tax income.
