John Kerry's Pseudo-science and Human Evolution

I was fact checking John Kerry's statements, Biden's climate envoy, at the UN Security Council claiming CO2 global warming was killing millions
stating, "7 million people a year die around the world from the impact of greenhouse gas pollution". But there is no science that supports that
fabrication. Just the opposite! Cold related deaths happen 10 times more than warm related deaths. To understand Kerry's level of scientific
intelligence, his replies at a congressional House Oversight hearing are very informative.

On April 9, 2019, Kerry stated the scientific consensus that CO2 concentrations above 350 ppm are dangerous. Disbelieving 350 ppm is dangerous, Rep.
Thomas Massie of Kentucky first pointed out Kerry was not a climate scientist nor a scientist at all, but simply someone with a liberal arts
"political science" degree. Massie accused John Kerry as 'somebody with a pseudoscience degree is here pushing pseudoscience in front of our
committee today."

Massey who has engineering degrees from MIT correctly added, "Since mammals walked the planet CO2 averaged 1000 ppm". Kerry made a meaningless
refutation stating, "Yeah but we weren't walking the planet then." Without showing how CO2 was dangerous Kerry added "At no time in at least past
800,000 years has atmospheric CO2 been as high as today."

Massey again challenged Kerry for cherry-picking his time frame arguing, "For 200 million years CO2 levels was greater than today." Again, Kerry
avoided the science of how high CO2 and warmer temperatures had enabled the evolution of most of the diversity of life we see today. Instead, Kerry
again side-stepped, "But there weren't human beings It was a different world" and then to avoid further challenges Kerry quips "This is not a serious
conversation."

But fact checking the scientific consensus regards temperatures when humans first appeared, reveals Kerry's pseudoscience. Humans evolved in a very
hot and dry climate of east Africa.

According to Passey et al (2010) High-temperature environments of human evolution in East Africa based on bond ordering in paleosol carbonates:

Humans evolved when "daytime air temperatures were typically in the range of 35°C (95°F)-to 40 °C (104° F)" in a region that "has been continually
hot during the past 4 million years"

Today the tropics are cooler, with average temperatures between 25°C and 28°C (77°F and 82°F)

All the ranting and shedding of tears over the pseudoscience that any increases above the current global average of 15 °C (59 °F) is deadly because
CO2 has risen, is just a narrative. It is not honest science.

Humans lost our ancestral covering of fur and increased our capacity to sweat so we were best adapted to the warmest conditions. Those adaptations
are the reason all medical science reports cold is more deadly than warmth. It is why fear mongering claims that CO2 above 350 ppm is killing people
is pure dishonest political propaganda! And as Kerry travels often in his private jet, I don't think the hypocrite believes it either!
