 From a right wing mouth piece like William Haupt III?

Do you really want to get into the specifics of the facts he presents
and what he omits?

Let's examine just one:

'The 10 states in the best fiscal condition are almost all red states.
Tennessee has never been in the red.'

Let's look at Tennessee in more detail to see how they achieved that
"never in the red" condition:

13th in poverty

<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_U.S._states_and_territories_by_poverty_rate>

9th in child poverty.

<https://datacenter.aecf.org/data/tables/43-children-in-poverty#ranking/2/any/true/2545/any/322>

45 in infant mortality

<https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/pressroom/sosmap/infant_mortality_rates/infant_mortality.htm>

And all of that while ranking 11th in percentage of state general
revenue coming from the federal government

So they take a lot from the federal government...

...don't do much to help their people...

...but, hey! Their budget is balanced!
