I know.

The medical examiner, Diaz.

What? You're the one who always says that I have to Google to find YOUR
sources.

How many would you like?

But it's ironic that you mention posting from an article without
providing a URL...

...you quoted an article from NPR (which you did at least cite by name)...

...but without providing a URL.

I didn't know exactly when the statement was made by Diaz, but have
since discovered it was some time before April 19, 2021...

Let's start with NPR:

'DREISBACH: It took months, but the D.C. medical examiner later said
that Brian Sicknick died from two strokes. Officially, natural causes -
but the medical examiner added, all that transpired on January 6 played
a role in his condition.'

<https://www.npr.org/transcripts/nx-s1-5200594>

Note the "it took months" part.

Washington Post:

'Diaz’s ruling does not mean Sicknick was not assaulted or that the
violent events at the Capitol did not contribute to his death. The
medical examiner noted Sicknick was among the officers who engaged the
mob and said “all that transpired played a role in his condition.”'

The Wall Street Journal:

'The chief medical examiner, Francisco Diaz, told the Washington Post
that the autopsy had found no evidence that Mr. Sicknick suffered an
allergic reaction to the chemical spray or evidence of internal or
external injuries, but said “all that transpired played a role in his
condition.”'

I could go on if that's not enough.
