FAA turened away QUALIFIED applicants for air traffic control based SOLELY on RACE.
I agree that it's too early to bring politics into this but, that ship sailed about 5 minutes after the tragedy when the left started blaming Trump.
I can't say that any of the key actors in this accident were DEI hires, but I think DEI culture & impacts likely played a role
