For many months Polievre has been campaigning on the promise to axe the
tax. Liberals have responded by accusing him of not caring about the
environment and global climate change. Carney officially became Prime
Minister two days ago and one of the first things he did was announce
that they were eliminating the carbon tax. Well... sort of. They are
eliminating it at the consumer end so people like me won't see that my
natural gas bill is up so much because there is $100 carbon tax added to
it.
