You need to learn an important concept:
"mens rea".
A woman had a miscarriage and didn't know what she was supposed to do in
that circumstance.
That's all that happened.
Charging her is a travesty of justice.
And you, with your complete lack of experience in law disagree with a
District Attorney from that jurisdiction.
Whose opinion do you think should carry more weight?
