Yes, I voted for the NDP candidate Brenda Walsh in
the Cape Spear riding, but as I expected, the popular
Liberal candidate Tom Osborne won.
On a national level, Mark Carneyâs Liberals will
form the next government but it is not clear
yet whether it will be a minority government
(fewer than 172 of the 373 seats) or majority
government (172 or more).
And the issue of Trumpâs attacks on Canada
was more important than the home building issue.
