'The White House has removed official transcripts of President Donald
Trumpâs public remarks from its government website, replacing them with
selected videos of his public appearances.
As recently as Sunday, transcripts of Trumpâs speeches and comments were
still showing up in the âRemarksâ section of WhiteHouse.gov. The next
day, they were gone, snapshots of the site from an internet archive
show. The only transcript appearing now is of Trumpâs inaugural address
on Jan. 20.'

'Asked why Vance is putting out official transcripts while Trump is not,
Vanceâs office declined to comment.
Historians and former White House officials denounced the move to do
away with public transcripts that have long served as the definitive
record of what the president says in public.
Dominique Dansky, who was the White House director of stenography during
Trumpâs first term and part of Joe Bidenâs, said that foreign embassies
rely on the transcripts to translate the presidentâs remarks for their
home countries.
âI have oftentimes received requests from other embassies looking for
presidential transcripts so that they can be translated and read by
their own citizens and government officials,â Dansky told NBC News.
She added that the transcripts are an efficient way to learn what
exactly the president said, as opposed to sitting through an entire video.'
It's almost like making it difficult to research what Trump has said is
the point, huh?
