Let's see, Trump announces he's approve aid for:
Virginia:
"It is my Great Honor to grant $11.7 Million Dollars to the beautiful
State of West Virginia, for severe tornados and flooding that impacted
their incredible people in June,"
Well the tornadoes he's talking about were in early June, so it's been a
month and a half.
Kentucky:
"I just gladly approved two Declarations for the Great Commonwealth of
Kentucky for two Storms in April and May, one for $28.9 Million Dollars,
and the other, $27.1 Million Dollars, for a total of $56 Million
Dollars," Trump said. "I spoke to Governor Andy Beshear, and informed
him of this approval. The Governor thanked me, and said our people are
doing a very good job. I LOVE KENTUCKY!"
So 2-3 months after the fact.
Indiana:
"I just finished speaking with the Governor Mike Braun, of the Great
State of Indiana, which I won BIG in 2016, 2020, and 2024. We are
approving $15.1 Million Dollars for severe flooding and tornados, which
took place in the early Spring. I know the State, under the leadership
of Mike Braun, will make a rapid recovery!"
So "early spring" means he's basically 3 months late.
Michigan:
"I just spoke with Governor Gretchen Whitmer to let her know I am
approving $50 Million Dollars for the wonderful State of Michigan for
Public Assistance to help them recover from the terrible Winter Storms
they endured," Trump said, concluding, "It was my Honor to do so!"
So... ...6 months behind.
I wonder what could possibly have incentivize him to announce this now?
