None of this sounded damning to me.

This is unprofessional. If you're only one month away from giving birth,
you don't return to working until after that's done.

He wanted to know their concerns and she wouldn't tell him? That's not a
good way to get concerns addressed. The correct approach is to relay the
concerns without saying who said which thing.
As for Ellen/Elliot Page, that individual's obvious misery isn't going
to be fixed by compelling the show to depict a happy version.
