Taxis do lots of short range fares. Air taxis can expect similar
patterns with waits between fares as opportunities to top off batteries
throughout a shift.
NASA has experimented with solar panel topped wings for drones that fly
above a spot. Like a communications satellite, forest fire watching. A
drone can loiter at 70000 days on end, above weather, commercial
flights, most of the air.
