I never said they were.

Lots of utility in an aircraft that can take off vertically and then fly
up to 100 miles before landing vertically.

"long after"? That's a straw man. No one is saying that the first
certified Joby flight means the end of helicopters.

And you have no data at all to claim that helicopters will be cheaper.

People have to take taxis to get to where helicopters operate from...

...and all those places can work for Joby aircraft too.

Their service will start in Dubai in 2026 and as you've pointed out,
they acquired Blade Air Mobility for the infrastructure it already has...

...because Blade Air Mobility doesn't actually own any helicopters, right?

You did know that, right?

What they do have are the bases for the operation of vertical takeoff
aircraft:

Blade Lounge West at W 30th Street and the Hudson River:

Blade Aqua Lounge at E 23rd Street and the East River:

And Blade Lounge Wall Street at the tip of Manhattan and walking
distance from Wall Street itself.

Then there's Blade Lounge Newark at Newark Liberty International Airport:

And of course, they can fly you into JFK as well.

:-)

You're just guessing about all of this because you've never even looked
into it at all?

I've never seen anyone claim that there would be a "heavy commercial
airliner" anytime soon.
