we had 2.5 then 3 then 2 inches of rain for three Sundays in a row (three
months worth of rain in 2 weeks) during December?
Well even the 8 inches of snow doesn’t piss me off as much as the TWO MORE
INCHES OF RAIN forecast for the Tuesday after that.
Every day I check the forecast. It started out 0.25 inches, then 0.5, then
0.7, then 1 inch, and now it’s up to 2 inches again. Same as last three
times, the forecast starts out reasonable and then just increases every
day.
The mud here is unbelievable already, you sink 6 inches into the ground
just walking in my yard… let alone with another two more storms coming
within days of each other. The ground can’t absorb any more water as it is
now, and 3 more months of it. Will be slush swamp out there for weeks to
come.
Plants gonna start dying soon.
