First, I will admit that I a an old fart.  That being said,the most 
impacting words I ever heard was at Marine Corps boot camp.  It was: 
"You can do more than you think you can do.  And if you fail, it is no 
one's fault but your own."

What we have today is everyone looking for a cause for their failure. 
Joe Biden's first speech spoke of "Systemic Racism."  That tells the 
lazy that their problems are not for lack of their effort, but due to 
other's hate.  Barack Obama had an opportunity to motivate and inspire, 
instead, he jumped on the poverty pimp wagon.
