Barack Obama:

2017. During his presidency, he faced criticism from anti-war activists 
and individuals for his administration's foreign policy and military 
actions. Here are some of the key actions that contributed to this 
criticism:

Drone strikes: The Obama administration significantly INCREASED THE USE 
OF DRONE STRIKES, particularly in Pakistan, Yemen, and Somalia. These 
strikes targeted suspected terrorists, but also RESULTED IN CIVILIAN 
CASUALTIES. Some notable incidents include:

A 2010 drone strike in Pakistan that killed Faisal Shahzad, a 
Pakistani-American who was accused of attempting to detonate a car bomb 
in Times Square. However, the strike also KILLED SEVERAL OTHER PEOPLE, 
INCLUDING CIVILIANS.

A 2013 drone strike in Yemen that killed Anwar al-Awlaki, a US citizen 
and alleged al-Qaeda leader. THE STRIKE ALSO KILLED SEVERAL OTHER 
PEOPLE, including a 16-year-old American citizen, Abdulrahman al-
Awlaki.

A 2015 drone strike in Somalia that killed Ahmed Kuno, a senior al-
Shabaab leader. However, THE STRIKE ALSO KILLED SEVERAL OTHER PEOPLE, 
INCLUDING CIVILIANS.

WEDDING PARTY DRONE STRIKE: On December 12,2009, a US drone strike in 
Yemen targeted a wedding party, killing 14 people, INCLUDING THE 
BRIDE'S FATHER AND SEVERAL OTHER CIVILIANS. The Obama administration 
initially denied that a wedding party was targeted, but LATER 
ACKNOWLEDGED THAT CIVILIANS WERE KILLED in the strike.

Libya intervention: In 2011, the Obama administration participated in a 
NATO-led intervention in Libya to overthrow Muammar Gaddafi's regime. 
While the intervention was authorized by the UN Security Council, some 
critics argued that the US and its allies went beyond their mandate and 
contributed to the country's instability. The aftermath of the 
intervention saw the rise of extremist groups and a prolonged conflict 
in Libya.

Syria policy: Obama's administration was criticized for its handling of 
the Syrian Civil War. Some of the key controversies include:

Red line incident: In 2013, Obama drew a "red line" over the use of 
chemical weapons in Syria, but ultimately chose not to take military 
action when the Syrian government crossed that line. This decision was 
criticized by some as a sign of weakness.

Support for rebels: The Obama administration provided support to 
certain rebel groups in Syria, which some critics argued was 
insufficient or misguided. The administration's support for rebels was
