And the same is happening in NYC where the real estate offices are being flooded with
calls from people looking to sell.
I actually heard an advertisement on a local radio station for a law firm specializing in
breaking a lease and/or subletting a rent controlled or stabilized apartment.
I don't know how long this will keep up but if it does, NYC is going to become a
wasteland like Detroit has.
I suspect the speculators are chomping at the bit to purchase NYC real estate a
low prices.
I can't see that happening at least not at the extreme level, but anything is possible.
Hey, that Brooklyn Bridge which people have been trying to sell for decades just
might become a bargain :)
