**Review of "Time Heist"**

In *"Time Heist,"* the Doctor, Clara, and two strangers awaken in a mysterious
heist scenario with their memories wiped, tasked with infiltrating the Bank of
Karabraxos-the most secure in the universe. The narrative unfolds as a mix of
a classic caper and sci-fi mystery, exploring themes of guilt, trust,
and second chances.

The standout feature is the dynamic pacing, with the story seamlessly
balancing high-stakes action and clever twists. The Doctor's team, including
the augmented hacker Psi and shape-shifter Saibra, adds depth, though the
supporting characters aren't as fleshed out as they could be. Their respective
backstories provide emotional weight, particularly as their motivations
are tied to the heist's outcome.

Peter Capaldi is in top form as the Twelfth Doctor, showcasing his sharp
intellect and moral complexity. Jenna Coleman's Clara continues to ground the
narrative, serving as the audience's emotional anchor amidst the chaos. Keeley
Hawes impresses as Ms. Delphox, the cold-hearted bank representative, and the
villainous Teller-a creature able to detect guilt-adds an element of dread
and tension.

The episode's visuals are sleek and polished, capturing the futuristic,
high-tech aesthetic of the bank. Director Douglas Mackinnon builds suspense
effectively, particularly in scenes involving the Teller's menacing abilities.
Murray Gold's score enhances the tension and energy of the heist.

Where the episode falters slightly is in its resolution. While the reveal
that the Doctor himself orchestrated the heist adds a clever twist, it feels
rushed, and the emotional stakes could have been more fully explored.
The conclusion, which ties the plot to a larger theme of redemption
and compassion, is satisfying but lacks a profound impact.

**Final Rating: 85/100**
*"Time Heist"* is an energetic and inventive episode that combines the thrills
of a caper with Doctor Who's signature heart and wit. While not perfect, its
engaging plot and clever twists make it a memorable adventure.
