Europe is well north of the US.
Gibraltar is at 36 degrees north. So is Winston Salem, NC.
London is at latitude 51.30. So is the southern tip of Hudson Bay.
Edinburgh, Scotland is at 56 degrees north. In Canada, that's the southern edge of
permafrost.
So, yes, if warming melts the arctic ice cap, Europe will get colder.
