Speaker also ejected Tory MP Rachael Thomas, even though she had
retracted her comment.
Fergus claimed he didn't hear her say "I retract" because of all the
noise in the House.
Problem is, while her words "I retract" were included in the
original unedited proceedings of the HoC (known as "the blues"),
they didn't appear in Hansard. Someone removed or omitted them.
Thomas's words "I retract" can also be heard on the audio recording
of the session.
Was it a coincidence, or is this more Liberal fun & games!
