Subject: Can You Name A Top Scientist At NASA Or NOAA Who Thinks Global Warming Is No Big Deal?

I know quite a number of atmospheric scientists who work for NOAA who do not
think that there is a "climate crisis," some in research positions, others in
operational forecasting. I even know a few folks who were employed at NASA and
have since retired or are employed elsewhere now on a different contract.

There is little doubt amongst scientists that there is at least some human-
induced climate warming. Even I agree with that, as do most other "skeptic"
scientists, at least those in meteorology, my field. But there is far from a
scientific "consensus" on three central matters:

1. Is the warming good or bad for life on Earth? Is global warming a net
benefit or a net negative to humanity?

2. How much will it warm by the end of the 21st century, and exactly just how
sensitive is the atmosphere to increases in carbon dioxide concentration?

3. If the impacts are a net negative, then what is the best course of action to
lessen / mitigate that? Should we focus on reducing emissions, or focus on the
infrastructure, zoning codes and forest management?
